Kempinski Palace Portoroz

Some weddings just have it all. Stunning couple, electric energy, affectionate families, cool location… Marlene and Thomas live in Austria, but they chose to have their luxury wedding at Kempinski Palace Portoroz. With most of the guest list (including me) escaping from hilly environment of our homes everyone was more than happy to spend the day on the Adriatic sea. Yessss, sea, sun, wine, khm in our case beer, people of good will and a loving couple. Marlene and Thomas exchanged vows on the terrace of Kempinski hotel. Both sharing a lot of laughs and quite a few tears. Marlene’s father could not attend the wedding due to illness. The family shot the wedding live and sent live stream to the father directly into the hospital. The atmosphere was full of great feelings. We took portraits of the couple on the only cliff on the Slovenian coast named Sveti križ. Before the sunset we quickly jumped on Kempinski palace beach on a short photo walk. Marlene and Thomas pulled off something that many brides and grooms dream off, yet only a few are capable of achieving: a stress-free, easy-going wedding day. It was sweet, and touching, and a ton of fun for everyone there, and we are so grateful to have been a part of this.
